Do the Conservatives Care? Exploring Public Perceptions of the Tories

Image
In the world of politics, public perceptions and opinions about political parties can be complex and multifaceted. One common sentiment that has emerged over the years is the belief that the Conservative Party, often referred to as the Tories, does not genuinely care about the average Brit. In this blog post, we will delve into this perception, examining the factors contributing to it and exploring different perspectives.

So, There were elections?

On Thursday 4 May 2023 elections were held in the England for local government, which means district councils, unitary authorities, and directly-elected mayors in England. It was the first real test of Rishi Sunak and his current premiership by the electorate. Let's talk about that.

The Rise Of Maggie Thatcher

Today we are going to be diving into history, the history of Britain and of the conservative party. In many ways Britain proved itself to be a leader, having many firsts under her belt and developing many new technologies. Maggie Thatcher became the first female western leader of a political party in February 1975.

The Conservative Party

So it's time to talk Tory. No, we aren't going to be bashing them all that much today, but mostly a quick lesson into the modern party and where it came from. Here we will talk about the origins, general ideals and modern actions of the Conservative  Party.

My political thoughts ...good for insomnia

I never really got deep into politics till I became ill and unable to work. Then I started listening harder and paying more attention. I will say this from the get-go I have NEVER or will vote for the Conservative party. I have always voted Labour, but I am NOT a Labour supporter. I am more..neutral or easier to say I follow my head in my views.

All About Liz Truss

With her being the Conservative party leader and thus the prime minister, what changes do you think she will make? In my opinion, although Boris Johnson spent a fair time being the prime minister, there was nothing remarkable or extraordinary about him. His time in number 10 when assessed by the public will be remembered as terrible and poor. But just how they reflect on his time will be determined by his successor, Liz truss and her time in office.

The Mini Budget

So first let's talk about what was announced in the (not really, but we all know it is) budget. Yesterday our new Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng talked in the house of commons about what the new government is going to do to help with the cost of living crisis.

The Coming "Fiscal Event"

So, we know that there is an upcoming "Fiscal event" planned for this month. I have heard many people misunderstanding this fiscal event as the tories are calling it. So I'm here to talk about it.

A New Government

So, we now have an alleged "new" government. Except we do not. Same old politics same fucking results. destruction for Joe Public and the rich lice-ridden Tories get away with everything.
